Island Breeze Luau

Winner of the "Best of West Hawaii" award since 2000, the Island Breeze Lū'au at King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel is a favorite of kama'aina (local residents), visitors and travel professionals.

Each evening guests are invited to join in a cultural experience that shouldn't be missed. The lū'au is well known for its delicious food and its amazing Polynesian production, and its beautiful unique location. It is held on the beachfront of historic Kamakahonu Bay and Ahu Ena, Kamehameha the Great's former estate in Kailua-Kona. Guests enjoy a backdrop of passing fishing boats, paddlers in outrigger canoes, and the lights of Kona and Mount Hualalai.

Considered a "Royal Hawaiian Experience", the lū'au features a 22 dish buffet, open bar, Polynesian arts & crafts demonstrations, and the Royal Court procession. Highlighting the evening is the spectacular Polynesian Revue. Where authenticity and the skills of the Island Breeze Ohana, is matched only by the spirit of aloha they share with the audience. All of this creates a very special cultural experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

Location

The Island Breeze Lū’au is held under the stars, on the historic grounds of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. The hotel is located adjacent to the pier in Kailua Bay, on Palani Road in Kailua-Kona, within walking distance of many visitor accommodations in Kailua-Kona. The lū’au is easily accessible from the Kohala Coast Resort area to the north and the Keauhou Beach Resort to the south.

Check-in Desk & Parking

The Island Breeze Lū'au reservation desk is located in the lobby of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Vouchers must be turned in for lū'au tickets at the lū'au desk. Guests must have tickets to be admitted to the lū'au. Ample parking is available at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Validation is given at the lū'au desk and during the lū'au.
 

The Luau Schedule:
• 5:00pm - Shell lei greeting, photo taking, hosted seating, arts & crafts, Imu ceremony
• 5:30pm - Open Bar
• 6:00pm - Torch-lighting, Royal Court Arrival
• 6:30pm - Luau dinner buffet
• 7:15pm - Island Breeze Polynesian Revue
• 7:30pm - Open Bar Close
• 8:30pm - Luau ends

Operation Days	Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Special Notes	Parking is available at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Validation is given at the luau. Parking is $5.00 with validation.
