1. Select the area / town you would like to travel to ( IE: Volcano Village, Big Island of Hawaii )

2. Specify your desired date of arrival

3. Specify your desired date of departure

4. Specify the # of people of your group ( Island Source will then only display rentals that sleep AT LEAST the number of people you have in your group )

If you don't have any dates yet, leave that field blank and you see all listings for the area selected, regardless of availability.

 

Additional OPTIONAL search criteria:   If you wish, you can refine your search by defining additional options to only display rentals that match that criteria :

a.  type of rental ( vacation rental, Condo, etc. ).

b. # of bedrooms

c.  jacuzzi

d. view ( ocean front / ocean view / garden view / mountain view / city view / lake view )

Based on your search criteria we will display a list of quality vacation rentals to you that you can browse to select the perfect rental for your vacation.  You can click on each rental to review more information about it, including Description, Rates, and Policies.

Once you decided on the rental that is perfect for you click on REQUEST RESERVATION.

HOW TO BOOK A RENTAL / REQUEST RESERVATION?

Just click on REQUEST A RESERVATION and fill your information on the form.
NO CREDIT CARD is needed to request a reservation.

HOW DO I FIND OUT THE RENTAL IS IN FACT AVAILALBE?

Usually within 24 hours ( but more often just in 1-2 hours you will receive an 
email from the owner confirming availability. 

HOW DO I PAY?

If the rental is confirmed as being available, you will receive instructions on how to pay for the rental.

An owner may request you to send a check, or just have you pay a deposit/payment via a digital invoice sent via paypal.  ( No paypal account is required to pay via paypal ).  Generally owners may ask for 1 night deposit, 50% deposit, or payment in full in advance, and final payments either 30 days prior to arrival or upon arrival itself.  Each owner has his/her own payment / deposit policy.

HOW DO I RECEIVE DIRECTIONS?

Once the deposit has been paid by the owner he/she will send you a confirmation, including directions. Some owners may wait till full payment has been made to send the directions.

HOW DO I RECEIVE CONTACT INFO FOR THE OWNER/OPERATOR OF THE RENTAL

When you request a reservation the owner will include his/her contact informaiton in the reply to your request.

HOW DO I CHANGE A RESERVATION?

Before you have secured your reservation with a deposit payment you can just log in and then adjust the reservation request.

Once a reservation deposit has been made you will need to contact us, or the owner directly to adjust your reservation.
